Some exercise never hurts and it's great for the condition of your skin. Exercise is also known to help with everyday stress and keep in a good shape. In case you think your acne is somehow connected with things you do every day, you might want to carefully look at your exercising habits. What exactly do you do? Where and how do you do it? It's a fact that acne can be aggravated by things you apply to your body, and not something you do. So, there is no reason for you to stop exercising regularly - just make sure you get rid of possible negative factors.
Number 1. Make-up. During your workout you should forget about make up. Even if you have no doubt about the quality of the makeup you use, remember it can still clog the pores on your face thus adding to the surfacing of acne. Also, keep in mind that after any exercise - whether it has been moderate or not - it's recommended to take a quick shower.
Number 2. Sunscreen. It's great if you are able to spend time breathing with fresh air. However, you should remember acne might get worse if your face is exposed to the sun during long periods of time. Besides sunburn, you might get clogged pores. The only piece of advice here is to wear sunscreen every time you go out on a sunny day. Of course, the products you choose mustn't contain any oil and must have sufficient SPF factor (15 at least). But there is another thing to be careful about: remember that anything you put on your face can potentially harm its condition and cause acne to become worse. Therefore, as soon as you come home, make sure you wash everything you applied off your face.
Number 3. Clothes. Nylon, Lycra and other synthetic materials should not be worn if you used to have body acne. These materials might be nice and comfortable to wear but they also accumulate heat and moisture and don't provide for sufficient ventilation. In such conditions bacteria start breeding very fast and can cause body acne before you know it.
